You just finished training. The legs ask for a break, the head is already in the shower and your feet have been corseted for hours in technical footwear that has done its job perfectly.
Joma, which has been fitting athletes from around the world for decades, has just launched the Viper Barefoot, its first serious commitment to minimalist recovery footwear.
Barefoot has been around sports catalogues for years - Hoka or Nike have their models - but Joma now takes it to a specific territory: that of being able to wear them on the street without looking like you're wearing sandals.

Zero drop, one hundred percent freedom
The base of the model is the ZERO DROP design, which eliminates the difference in height between the heel and the toe so that the foot rests in its most natural position.
A lightweight upper with VTS ventilation, antibacterial insole and rubber sole complete a shoe that has given up anything when the body has already given everything it had.

You're not going to run with them, but you're going to do everything else
Joma presents them as a complement to technical footwear, something with which to go for a walk after training, move around the house or simply let your feet rest without standing.
The runner who takes care of his body knows that there is life after the stopwatch, and the Viper Barefoot want to be there.
Going to the supermarket after Sunday's race, moving around the house between sessions, regaining the habit of stepping well in times when no one is measuring you. Joma calls it active recovery and has built around that idea a model that, for once, does not promise to break any records.
