Orca launches the apex Dream Kona V2, a trisuit revision with changes that go beyond the fabric. The previous model had long-distance documented problems, and the V2 responds point-to-point.
Aerodynamics: 8 watts at 40 km/h
Orca developed the V2 with wind tunnel testing and real competition. The main data: savings of up to 8 watts at 40 km/h. The base is made of Italian fabrics on the back and sleeves, with horizontal grooves on the back and vertical grooves on the sleeves, where the previous model was behind in independent comparisons.
Sebastian Kienle collaborated on the development of previous versions of the Dream Kona. Orca extends that process in the V2 with more test variables and real race conditions.

Thermal management: Vapour Cool with silver thread
The chest and side panels incorporate Vapour Cool technology with silver thread to wick away heat and moisture. Orca says that, under controlled conditions, body temperature drops by up to two degrees after an hour of intense exertion.
Over long distances, temperature conditions performance in running, and the previous model offered no answer at that point.
What was missing: pockets and improved chamois
The original Dream Kona had no pockets, limiting it to distances where nutrition is not a critical factor. The V2 incorporates integrated rear storage without aerodynamic penalty.
The chamois also changes. The previous version was lightweight but insufficient in padding for long cycling. The V2 debuts Italian chamois with eco-graphene and carbon inserts to improve heat dissipation and support. The profile is still low so as not to penalize in the foot race.

Adjustment in finishes
The elastic fabrics and patterning allow complete mobility in swimming and in an aerodynamic position, without restriction points in any discipline.
The original Dream Kona ran in neoprene-free swimming and short distances, but raised questions about aerodynamics, nutrition, and long-distance comfort. The V2 corrects the three points: 8 watts of improvement in cycling, back pockets and chamois with more support. With those changes, the Dream Kona competes in medium and long distance.
